Postgraduate Studies Programme “Health Promotion in the Third Age” in the context of its operation and aiming at high-level postgraduate education, provides its students with a multitude of learning support services, electronic services and educational materials.

Educational Material

In the context of its operation, the Programme has developed original educational material with the aim of spreading and promoting knowledge among its members, but also its extroversion and the creation of added value in society.

 

This educational material consists of:

 

  • A digital library of books related to health promotion in third age

 

The library is only accessible to Programme students through the Open e-Class platform. Students can access library materials using their institutional credentials by selecting the appropriate course in Open e-Class. The library consists of scientific books related to the subjects treated by the Programme.

 

  • A series of short informative videos on dealing with and managing the daily life of elderly people

The informative videos are available for use by any interested persons, students, graduates, health professional or caregivers and can be accessed through the Programme’s channel on YouTube platform.

The videos provide useful information and good practices for the care of elderly people by covering critical issues of their daily life, such as incontinence and bed rest. Particular importance is attached to people with dementia.
