Professional Development

Postgraduate Studies Programme “Health Promotion in the Third Age” can be a pioneer in the training of people who wish to join the formal, non-formal and informal promotion of health in the elderly.

The graduates of the Programme will be trained in the planning, development and implementation of specialized actions that will help the elderly to remain active, to live with autonomy and dignity and to ensure their unhindered access to information for the promotion and protect their health.

In addition, upon successful completion of the Programme, its graduates can successfully contribute to social protection agencies, health centers, hospitals, care centers for the elderly (KAPI), nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and primary care clinics.

Although the qualification of a Postgraduate Studies Programme Diploma does not apply to professional accreditation in the public or private sector, the studies provided are EQF level 7 studies.
